Drying Shed Fundraiser

Hello Friends and Community Health Supporters!

My name is Dr. Alicia and I am CEO of Nature Nurture Farmacy, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower the community in their health journey, through education on healthy living, growing food and medicine and creating herbal remedies while focused on sustainability and disease prevention. We currently grow botanical herbs in Winlock, WA. We harvest these herbs and make medicine immediately or process and dry them to be saved for a later date to be used for teaching classes, dispensing as herbal teas or made into herbal formulas.

With a very remedial and limited drying operation we have cultivated and preserved a great deal of herbs being used for direct patient care or teaching community classes. This year we are putting in a drying shed! With a drying shed in place by the end of this summer we would have the ability to exponentially grow our operation and reach further into the community. We will also save costs on purchasing herbs we previously have shipped in from other areas. Money donated to this campaign will be earmarked for build the drying shed for Nature Nurture Farmacy herbal medicine operation.

We are hoping to raise $5,000 for materials to build the building. We have a generous carpenter willing to donate time to build the structure so all we need to do is purchase materials. If you know someone who would be willing to donate some materials let’s chat! On completion of the drying facility, we will be hosting an open house in September so all can see what we accomplished together (date TBD)

If you are not in a financial place to donate right now but want to support the mission, share the post to your network. Include a testimonial on why you think this project is important or maybe how NNF has supported you on your health journey. Most of all remember, “be the change you want to see in the world.” Thank you for your time!

Click here to go to our - Facebook Fundraiser or if you would like to donate in person contact Dr. Alicia and she can make arrangements to pick up funds!
